Our ShowroomsWe have a four-oven, two-oven cooker, 44' Legacy, and an undercounter refrigerator along with a vast knowledge of all other AGA product available. We would be happy to have you stop by our showrooms whether you are just shopping, want to schedule a test-drive, demo, or class we're available to answer your questions. Chefcargo is open by appointment only so please contact us to set up a time that is convenient for you.

Test-drivesWe have both the AGA Cooker and the AGA Legacy fired up in our kitchen. A fine range is like buying a fine automobile. Up 'till now, the difference was car dealers let you take the car our for a spin before you buy. We thought we would do the same. When looking is just not enough, schedule a test-drive. An AGA trained chef will spend time with you one-on-one to help you find the AGA that will fit your needs. Use either a Legacy, Cooker or both. We only charge a small fee to cover the groceries and then we're all yours. Contact us to find out more and set up your test-drive.

Three-day Cooking class agenda

Day One:   • De-programming "stove top" concepts
  • AGA Basics: Soups, Stocks, Breads and Specialties

First of all, you have to unlearn some of what you know about stove top cooking. Obviously you can cook on top of the AGA but the AGA cooks best when you use the ovens. We'll begin the day with eggs: poached, boiled, baked and fried. Next, pasta cooked in the AGA's three ovens.

Along the way, you'll learn the preliminaries to making super "stocks" for soup -- tasty french onion soup the AGA way. We'll also bake some delicious breads: French baguettes, loaf breads and -- even foccacia.

Day Two:  • Graduate to the harder stuff:
  • Cakes, Pies and Pastries

Day two begins with crepes right on top of the AGA. Then we learn to prepare quiche. Next we'll show you how to bake a perfect Italian biscotti, super satisfying pound cake, lemon butter cookies and lemon tartlets.

We'll finish the day with a simply wonderful angel food cake -- nothing is better for a cook's ego than to hit a home run with great sweet things, and your family will love this stuff.

Day Three  • Putting it all together:
  • Preparing and serving a full family dinner

Today we're ready to put what we've learned together. We'll prepare and serve a multi-dish family style meal. Oh and this is all after we make breakfast (which includes the best AGA cinnamon rolls ever to grace an over floor). We'll also show you how to clean up the AGA on your own.

  • • AGA Standing Rib Roast
  • • Ultimate Garlic Roasted AGA Chicken
  • • AGA vegetables: corn off the cob, southern green beans and roasted garlic mashed potatoes
  • • French rolls (from first day's class)
  • • Lemon tartlet
  • • Last but not least is our version of death by chocolate the AGA chocolate soufflé
